Macrocycle is constrained to be a binary multiple of frame rate. The macrocycle contains time reserved for scheduled (synchronous) and unscheduled (asyncronous) tasks. The segment Unscheduled Overhead Percent property (time allowed for asynchronous communications) can be configured for 30%, 40%, or 50% of the total macrocycle time. If more than the configured time is consumed, the next longest macrocycle is selected by the system.
