General Electric IC693CPU321 10-slot baseplate

The GE Fanuc IC693cPU321 is a 10-slot baseplate that is compatible with the Battery Accessory Kit -IC693ACC315. This baseplate has an embedded cPu. To install the kit into this baseplate, the user needs to align the backplane connector on the accessory board with the power supply connector of the IC693cPU321. This is located on the backplane of the baseplate. It is important to push the accessory board towards the baseplate, ensuring it is fully seated. Distributors who are shipping the baseplate with the battery accessory already installed must take care with packaging the components. The board needs to be held in place by using cable ties.

The terminal board is designed to accept wire sizes from AWG #22 (0.36 mm) through AWG #14 (2.10 mm). It is important that when using AWG #14 (2.10 mm2) wire for wiring all points, that a maximum insulation diameter of .135 inch (3.43mm) not be exceeded. To ensure proper connection,

two wires may be terminated on any one terminal only if both wires are the same size. The terminal board is designed to accept a maximum of (40) AWG #14 (2.10 mm2)wires. If AWG #14 (2.10 mm2) wires are to be used, then wire markers should be placed at least 8 inches (203 mm) from termination end to provide sufficient space for the hinged door to close
